Hydro = POWER

I was asked to do some hydro tower shots. They want to frame them and hang them in their house. These are my favorite shots of the day.

The first one:

This is the landscape of the 401 and 402 right before you hit London from the west side. I actually had trouble figuring out where to stop to take the pictures cause there were so many options. I like this shot cause of the contrast (I like opposites in pictures) of the forest of small trees behind the forest of towers. Thats a picture we are all missing. We are altering our landscape from natural to unnatural.
The second one:

I love how it shows that man made things are overpowering nature. That is a huge tree, yet it is just dwarfed by the hydro tower. Thge tree is round and flexible and gives us oxygen, foliage, shade and life. The hydro tower is tall and rigid, and gives us hydro, no shade, no life. It is just a carrier of man made energy. The tree's energy (life, fire, sap, seeds, oxygen) isnt something we would pay for anyhow. Interesting.

The third one:

I also love lines and patterns. Hydro towers are great for this. They are long, tall and almost elegant looking. I just liked this shot.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these shots! First two are my faves!

BTW, we had two cardinals, but I couldn't get a good shot of them!

Thanks! I wonder if we are sharing cardinals... that might be a stretch, maybe. I dont know what a cardinal would consider 'far'.
